By the time she was dismissed her side needed 66 more at a run-a-ball - an achievable target now demanding an easy conclusion.

"Chasing 330 runs is unfamiliar ground so I am glad we have the assurance to accomplish that now," added Healy.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it another time but, should it happen, we are confident we can achieve it."

Those words will be the final thing competing nations at this championship want to hear.

In recent days a belief they will win from any position has grown stronger - this triumph coming after success over Pakistan by 107 runs despite being 76-7 at one stage.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before an encounter with traditional opponents England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final berth may well be secure.
