Ex- Doctor Accused of Assault Allegations Involving 38 Individuals in His Care
Legal authorities have stated that a former doctor now faces charges for performing assaults involving 38 individuals who were under his care.
Details of the Serious Allegations
Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham has been charged with numerous sexual offences – comprising some against minors under the age of thirteen – between 2017 and 2021.
One deputy chief prosecutor stated, “Our prosecutors have worked at length to support a thorough and intricate police inquiry, meticulously examining the evidence to determine that there is sufficient evidence to bring the case to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.”

These allegations come after what investigators described as a “complex investigation” into alleged sexual offences at two hospitals: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and a facility in Dudley.
Spencer is due to appear at the local magistrates' court on 20 January.

Prosecutors outline the 45 charges comprise:
- 15 counts of assault.
- Seventeen counts of assault by penetration.
- Nine counts of assault on a minor under thirteen.
- 3 counts of assault of a child under 13 by penetration.
- 1 count of attempted penetrative assault.
